Holiday Farm Fire Update

Listened to the Governor's Briefing. As you might know Oregon has their hands full putting it
lightly. The Governor calls it a crisis.

The National Guard has been called up and should be on the scene Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

As stated in Oregon National Guard FB entry Sept 8

SALEM, Ore. - The Oregon National Guard has been responding to five separate counties with wildland fire and search and recovery efforts employing seven aircraft to include, HH-60 Blackhawk and UH-72A Lakota helicopters directly assisting local counties.

With situations continuing to change, the Oregon National Guard is monitoring the ongoing conditions to respond and support local agencies when requested. The Oregon National Guard has three teams of 125-members red card trained and on standby to support wildland fire efforts.

As I stated I am not going to worry. Nor quibble over why teams on Standby have to be 'mobilized' ... and it takes 3 to 4 days. I am from out of state and if I went wondering, publicly asking etc about California State issues it would cause me to have an actual real effective blog

so I will ponder it all including myself. Hope we all get unstuck and mobilized. All hands on deck, is the PLanet's call. First order of business... align yourself with the Planet. How?
