Is a categorization of generalities of people by race with their reactions described by race any thing but
a lens of Race oriented labeling? When their 'White' racism is pointed out, is your racism good and other
peoples bad? Is this material circulating through local governments in America?
Does this accomplish anything besides empowering someone to be paid by Americans of all Colors tax dollars, to point fingers at one another. Does one have the right to refuse to be part of this training?
We are all manner of people, with all manner of perspectives that we shall not act in fear based on the errors of someone else's opinions. Unless there can be shown some breaking of laws or harm to anyone.
I could see that on entering a Government profession. That all prospective employees be asked if they have
any beliefs that any group or individual is any better or worse than any other group or individual or are they willing to faithfully apply themselves to their position with regard to race, religion or any particular creed. Yes or no ? So help you God. Period Done!

I removed my 'Progressive' Song from yesterday's post. It wasn't very tuneful. I or we get caught up in what's going wrong and don't feel the underlying rhythm of the Good Universe. There is only one Universe of course.

whole Planet, all life. Ignorance is an empty bucket, and I would say the bucket is really empty these
days. How do we fill it up? Fill it up with something positive.
I fell out of bed on the wrong side today. Hurt. Metaphorically speaking. I may someday truly abandon
the internet world. Hurt. For me with some issues of health that fluctuate like tides, and I ain't getting any younger, I have to recognize that if my body says no, 'Do not sit in front of a computer it does something to your heart, your own bio-electrical life entity....' Take that as a warning as to why this might be my last post in awhile (someday).
The young woman at the Coffee Shop on hearing that I had fallen out of bed on the wrong side informed me. That more or less '.... every Bug, every Alien every Meteor. is important to the Universe... and you she said.... especially .... You are important to the Universe.' For $2.50 cup of Dragon's Well Tea I get my money's worth in inspiration.
My guitar playing friend who sat on the porch with me for two hours today.... Said to me ...'Who told you, you know something?' Which caused some wrinkling of my already wrinkled brow and brain.
'I don't know?' Just something, someone, inside information .... What did I say to trigger that question?
Some dumb comment about the Planet as if 'saving' the Planet was something I or you could do. 'Protect what you Love.' How do you do that? You do what ever you can do. Children give meaning to our lives. In other words every part and particle of the Universe belongs. Yes you can.

McLarin said the most consequential action the department has taken so far is to educate its employees about their own racial bias.
“There is a lot of foundational work that has to be done,” McLarin said, “for all of us to learn where our biases are.”
Thirty of the department’s top executives are attending monthly labs to expand their “capacity to create and lead an anti-racist organization,” said McLarin.
Department employees also attend “safe space, brave space” sessions organized by Anyania Muse, Marin County’s equity officer. And the department’s social services division staff attended a three-day training on “racial sobriety.”
“Racial sobriety addresses the concept that we have to be aware of, the racist ideas that may have been ingrained in us by our larger culture,” said Aimee Reedy, who was hired as the department’s chief strategy officer in December 2019 at an annual salary of $96,969.
“They use the word sobriety,” Reedy added, “because the idea is you have to recover from having these ideas.”
The department is also seeking to hire its own “equity manager,” who will be paid a starting annual salary of $105,348.
McLarin, reporting to the Board of Supervisors last week, said she began work on implementing the strategy shortly after being hired, but she had to put the project on hold briefly when the coronavirus pandemic hit Marin in March.
“In July 2020, we thought we were in a place to relaunch our action teams,” McLarin said.
McLarin said the department is not tracking the number of employee hours being spent on the equity initiative or its total cost.
Reedy said there are six teams of department employees directly involved, and each team has eight to 15 employees. The employees perform the equity work in addition to their normal assignments.
In August, McLarin told supervisors that the department lacked the capacity to continue a food distribution program operated by local restaurants, even though the program was funded by the state and federal government.
“We are really overly stretched at this time as a department,” McLarin said at the time. “We have found ourselves not only fighting the COVID-19 pandemic but also getting ready to support fire season.”
McLarin said it is unusual for a department whose focus is providing health services to involve itself in education.
“In order to make an equity impact we really needed to understand that these issues start early,” she said.

To my friends of Blue, Red, young or old if you are not real familiar with Rand Paul, Senator from Kentucky you should be. He's been a fighter for civil liberties and against government overreach, whether it be military overseas interventions or domestic spying, since becoming a senator. If someone were to review his record, if you consider yourself a progressive you'll perhaps find stands on issues you dislike. If you harbor independent sentiments, and recognize that entrusting Government of the Left or the Right with too much power, than you are likely, as I am an admirer of Paul's determination and guts and recognize that he is a force that we should all be proud of.
Government surveillance
As a critic of warrantless surveillance of Americans, Paul says "the Fourth Amendment is equally as important as the Second Amendment" and has called for conservatives to more strongly defend Fourth Amendment rights.[296][297] In 2015 Paul spoke for ten and a half hours on the Senate floor against renewing provisions of the PATRIOT Act that he said were unconstitutional.[298][299] Paul has called Edward Snowden a "whistleblower" and called for Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to resign for "lying" about the phone metadata program that Snowden exposed.[300][301] He also filed a class action lawsuit against the Obama administration seeking to end the program.[302] Paul gave a speech at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014 titled "The N.S.A. vs. Your Privacy".[303][304]
Cannabis
On cannabis legalization, Paul says the issue should be left up to the states and that "you ought to be able to pretty much do what you want to do as long as you don't hurt somebody else".[282][283] Regarding medical use, Paul has endorsed efforts to legalize in Kentucky[284] and introduced the CARERS Act in 2015 to legalize medical cannabis at the federal level.[285] Paul has also supported states' rights-focused cannabis legislation, introducing the Rohrabacher–Farr amendment in 2014,[286] cosponsoring the STATES Act in 2018,[287] and introducing other amendments.[288][289] Paul introduced the Marijuana Businesses Access to Banking Act in 2015 to allow cannabis businesses increased access to banks.[290]
Regarding industrial hemp cultivation, Paul has supported efforts to legalize in Kentucky[291][292] and at the federal level as well, introducing the Industrial Hemp Farming Act in 2013.[293] In 2020 he introduced the Hemp Economic Mobilization Plan (HEMP) Act to increase the THC limit of hemp from 0.3% to 1%.[294][295]
Withdrawal of Forces from Afghanistan
On July 1, 2020, the Senate rejected Paul's amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act which would have required the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Afghanistan within a year and brought an end to the 19-year war.[264]
On the 2nd Impeachment of President Trump that apparently as of tonight will not go forward.
Former President Trumps claims of voter fraud did not get a fair hearing
in the press nor in therefore in the public's eye. There is much that went down that
should never be repeated in another election. To dismiss the concerns over the many instances
of voting irregularities reported to simply be 'lies' or a 'fraud' is itself untrue. Repeated hundreds
of times in the Press as a 'Fraud' that is not accurate.
For the former President to claim 'I Won' is
a declaration of the facts that is not known, their is not evidence. It is a lie.
It is a declaration that has hurt all the supporters of President Trump.
It is highly unlikely that you won President Trump. The amount of irregularities as reported in
Arizona, Georgia or Michigan etc can lead one to rightfully question the whole ball of wax. Yet there
is no way for you to manipulate reality as to declare 'I won!' You undo your own valid arguments. The manipulation by the Press and the lack of leadership to address this via Trump or the Mainstream Media
and the Liberal State either way it is manipulation... all we know is that
it should never happen again. I will try again someday to add up all the 'irregularities' that do add up to way to bleepin' much. Could it have cost Trump the election? Perhaps.
If you are a young person, (say under 40) then you should begin to make a study or attempt to find out who exists in the US Senate and Congress who conceivably thinks deeply on behalf of the country more than on behalf of their party. Not very many right now. Rand Paul is one I will not agree with him on everything of course and that is Life. I wish there were a few more out there Democrats or Republicans who show a real rebellious streak against conformity of thought. Since the loss of the Democrats vision and ethics they are making Republicans look better than they have ever done in the past. May we all wake up together, every one stuck in their roles find room to look around and realize we are free to say no thank you, No thank you I've seen enough Emergency Measures of all kind. Keep the power with the people.
