Hsieh / Liberation
A Thunderous Cloudburst shatters the oppressive humidity:
The Superior Person knows the release in forgiveness, pardoning the faults of others and dealing gently with those who sin against him.
It pays to accept things as they are for now.
If there is nothing else to be gained, a return brings good fortune.
If there is something yet to be gained, act on it at once.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
The relief you experience here is not your own personal pardon, but the release of others from your rigid expectations.Like a hot air balloon, you will rise to new heights as you cast the heavy sandbags of resentments and restrictions away from you.
Feel the lightness of being that results from forgiving others and accepting them as they are.
Free yourself of the endless vigil of policing the behavior of others.
See them for who they are, not what they can or can't do for you.

I darn well need some Liberation. Ever since I decided to give it a try at the new 'Safeway Community Market'. Oppression is what I experience.. though how much of that is brought about by my own 'endless vigilance of policing others', my judgmental nature particularly in regards to the Corporate culture of the USA and planet Earth 2017. Wish the heck I had some Liberation.
Can I live in a culture where if asked by a customer How I like the new store? I am required to put on a smiley face and find something positive to say. 'render unto Caesar what is Caesar's' someone once said. Stand, Stand, Stand! Stand! The voices of San Anselmo and the Ross Valley Echo.
How does The San Anselmo Community Market come into being? .. or is it just Guy's hole in the wall Market. Like Jim the purveyor of his Organic Farm stand out in Forest Knolls. Just do it! find a way! get it done.
In times of war back in ancient China the Emperor would forbid his General's to consult the I Ching. Don't mess up your mind trying to interpret these writings, use your senses, your intelligence, your intuition.. A friend at the Market knowing my inner battle of finding Peace.. of get the bleep out now.. or hang in there with your brothers and sisters in the corp of the minions of America, and see what happens. Resist what you can, go with the flow, question authority, how does something new begin if no one takes a stand?
'Make sure you make the right decision.' a friend of mine Tells me. Right! Sure. My crystal ball is not very helpful. The right decision will be a mystery. But like Bobby sang when I was a kid, in the ancient days .. and still singing.
Playing in the Band
Some folks trust to reason
Others trust to might
I don't trust to nothing
But I know it come out right
Others trust to might
I don't trust to nothing
But I know it come out right
Say it once again now
Oh, I hope you understand
When it's done and over
Lord, a man is just a man
Oh, I hope you understand
When it's done and over
Lord, a man is just a man

Some folks look for answers
Others look for fights
Some folks up in treetops
Just look to see the sights
Others look for fights
Some folks up in treetops
Just look to see the sights
But I can tell your future
Well, just look what's in your hand
But I can't stop for nothing
I'm just playing in the band
Well, just look what's in your hand
But I can't stop for nothing
I'm just playing in the band

Daybreak on the land
Standing on a tower
World at my command
You just keep a turning
While I'm playing in the band
World at my command
You just keep a turning
While I'm playing in the band
If a man among you
Got no sin upon his hand
Let him cast a stone at me
For playing in the band
Got no sin upon his hand
Let him cast a stone at me
For playing in the band
Playing
