The twenty dollar haircut a thing of the past! Please it can't be true.

"Get going!" My boss told me emphatically at my work place last week.

Out of the blue. It was during the set-up days. Everything was chaos. I was sick and visiting
the bathroom again for the fourth time that morning. Bleahhh! The store was filled with 50 or 70
people all scrambling to be busy.. I exaggerate. Almost all. I was hoping to look busy. Please let me go home. I ended up sweeping the parking lot. That was relatively enjoyable and something I could handle. I tried to turn that into a full days work. By the time I got done, if I took my time it would be ready for another sweep. However some of the younger staff showed up with brooms also and then I was sort of forced to let the Courtesy Clerks do the second or third round.. Meanwhile.

 My Sister (Half Sister) up in British Columbia, Satya, finished her book last year and it was published recently.

 I spoke to her about her book, and about my job in Corporate America. Maybe I was looking for advice in my week of indecision before I decided to rejoin my fellow workers under the new regime. She told me don't worry. It's all people. Everything is people even Corporations. She said something about 'Ant Power', regards to our little piece of turf. She suggested I balance the Corporate thing by joining the Green Party. I am giving it some consideration. Also have thought about joining the Republican Party. Hah! Not so shocking anymore as people have tried to figure out where I am coming from these days.

  If I had to choose between George Washington and Fidel Castro to start my revolution or lead it most definitely would go for George. When given the opportunity to hold power in the face of instability, financial crisis etc... George said no thanks.

  Fidel appointed himself President for Life. Has Raul inherited the Cuban Monarchy? Oh forgive me... all for the people.

  Of course Pete Seeger might not be so warmhearted towards 'the Republicans' of the 20th or 21st Century. Maybe Pete had a huge dose of what Thomas Jefferson and James Madison wrote ....
