Today in Marin County California, a non-profit agency Marin Services for Women receives a grant for $975,000 from the federal government. "To boost services for pregnant and postpartum mothers and their families.' Richest county in California of course their are poor people here. Marin County is a hard scrabble blue collar mess buried under a heap of people with money and the landlords who want to charge the rest of us like we are wealthy too.
I think of the $17 Trillion dollars in federal debt that some people believe is nothing to be concerned with and the so called battle between Democrats and Republicans to find places to cut the budget.
The Occupation apparently shut down the port of Oakland. Don't get it.
The leaderless Occupation reminds me of the leaderless TParty at least that was the initial 'power' of the TParty. That being we are of the people and we don't need leaders.
So of course the Arch Conservative Republicans moved in to guide the herd. The Occupation army proud of it's leaderless state but with 'facillataters'(sic). The Democrats want it to stay that way Obama and Robert Reich and that whole Spend our way to great health crew who can always say the word Republican or now TParty and get the proper Pavlovian response. Yes indeedy I see no alternative, our Guy is so much better than their Guy.
I could go on about Republicans too it's so easy though. The disgusting voting laws across America to make people provide State picture ID in order to vote. The pathetic drive to build that oil pipeline across the heartland of America. With the utter capper of Aliens Rule the People of the USA under the Republicans Emminent Domain. Where farmers from Montana to Louisiana must sell their land to a foreign owned corporation or be in violation of Federal Law.
And Obama's army of Feds shuts down the local Pot Club in Fairfax. The news story of
Drones flying over America for security purposes passed my gaze. Sigh. THe DOD under Obama currently classifies in their DOD manual of domestic disturbances 'Protestors' as low-level terrorists.
Come on Guy what makes you happy? Rock and Roll, all forms of music, a good night's sleep, money in my pocket... the thought of traveling.
